As you can see I'm a YouTube Actor. I also Model with Products and Apparel.
I Loved promoting Pepsi as a Promotional Model, but now I need to step it up a notch. I do this for fun with hopes to become as famous as Pewdiepie or Jenna Marbles who appeared on the MTV TV Show Ridiculousness.

I'm an Actor, A Promotional Model and A Truck Driver working on Staying fit.

Where do you see your self in five years?

I would say in five years, I see myself as a Famous Actor hanging out with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. In Reality I see myself still living in North Carolina
realizing that my acting goal was just too hard to pursue at my age.

I want to be an Actor Full-Time, I want to be a Male model Part-time.
I don't want to be a Truck Driver anymore. I want to have the freedom that
all actors get. A typical Actor that Works for six months in one film a year and takes the rest of the six months to relax and travel the world.... dreaming like that is a pipe dream. I got advice from a very well know actor that told me if I wanted to make something of myself as a actor Full-time. I had to start doing Theater, Find an Independent film to be in. Then establish some social background and find out where the big time stuff was at. That sound like years of work! I want a Acting Job now!

Really when I say that I mean I want it. But I know I have to be patient. Instead of waiting for work I submit for. I should just let it surprise me and continue to enjoy my life! I have other plans that can lead up to my acting career. I can Blog about Acting and Modeling to keep myself busy. I could very well read more about acting and post videos on YouTube about acting and modeling. What I can tell you, is that to get into this business its very hard to compete with millions of actors all over the world. #Actor Jeffrey Barkey will see what he is in five years when those five years have come. In the mean time I will continue to submit for roles, find auditions and blog till someone discovers me. I will not let what is going on right now ruin my chance, by stressing over emails and casting directors that don't respond.

In order to be Persistent in this Acting and Modeling I
ndustry you have to stay Positive! Don't let fear take over your life, if you can dream it you can do it. Even if it takes Five Years!

If you just so happen to have a Special Skill which Is another valuable tip I'm going to give you. If you can Sing, Dance, speak a different language or perform your own stunts. You will have a better chance at getting a part in a film over those who cannot.

The "Max" film I was filmed in July 2014 comes out in theaters in August,2015

I had a (Background Acting Role) and If I was not cut out of a scene, you should
see me briefly in theaters. I can't wait to see my Acting performance, what seemed like 15 mins was probably only 30 seconds. If you happen to get a Background Acting or Extra role that may be a Stand in be sure to show up to your Call time
as directed in the information you receive. I was actually thirty minutes early but I also had no idea where I was going. Thanks to my GPS.

I don't know where to even start with my acting career.
I have tried everything I could possible think of. In order to get an Agent
that just might get me the acting job I want or need to get noticed I have to come up with $325 dollars to Sign with that new Agent. How do you come up with money that you can't afford to take from a budget? I sold two headshots on ebay!

I would need to sell like a 1000 more just to get the money I need to continue my dream. Did famous actors or actresses need money to get started in the entertainment business? of course they did. They had to have headshots taken of them and printed, so they probably paid a photographer that took amazing pictures of anything. That cost anywhere from $100 and up. In order to be an actor you have to have some knowledge of Acting. So you go to college or some trade school that offers Acting classes. What can you expect to learn at a acting school. well first thing I learned was, How to Slate! where you state your full name age and who you are represented by. Representation would be the agency or agent you have. Next you learn about monologues, which is a one person story where only you are talking about a situation. You can then create your very own monologue to use in a short film. There are a few other things you learn and cold read and script analysis is recommended. If you took drama class in grade school like I did in the 6th grade you probably already know this. I can't express myself unless I can act it out! If I get a laugh from someone that just show that I'm a comedic actor. I do like to do voice acting but I'll talk more about that later

My Acting and Modeling Resolution

 I'm starting fresh and will be getting pictures taken of my gut. Then getting pictures taken of me using the IT works wrap to show everyone that follows me
My results. I have the link to the It Works products if you would like to find out more about them. Hollywood changes the way we want to look. I sure want to be Hollywood fit, if I'm going to keep pursuing acting and modeling.

I'm also going to list my Head shot on Ebay again for the third time, but this time
Actor Jeffrey Barkey is going to give 10% of the earnings to a charity that really
needs it. My new years resolution to be an actor and model full time is to stay positive and be persistent. Yes my star rating on IMDB went down but I'm
still some 300k out of 6 million.

 If I can raise enough money from sales on ebay
I might be able to afford to buy new head shots and sign with a new agent that can
find me a commercial job or supporting role with IMDB credit to boost my star.

Modeling For It Works Products Soon

So far I have not heard anything back from the acting jobs that I submitted to. I have applied to be on the Ellen show and the Oprah Winfrey show to try and tell my story and get myself out there. I'm on social media websites like crazy. I even sold two Signed Headshots on Ebay. I don't get much views on my YouTube videos anymore, but that hasn't stopped me yet. I've come to the conclusion that Jeffrey Barkey just needs to Act for fun on YouTube till someone notices his great comedic acting. Actor and Promotional Model Jeffrey Barkey just needs to stick to doing his own Modeling for a know client, That he is currently married to that just so happens to want to look fit and stay fit with a healthly lifestyle. So I said I should be your model and try IT Works for myself since it worked for you, our friend and several thousands of other people.

 I like to Act and Model. I was hoping for a Mountain Dew Commercial.

But I think Jeffrey Barkey can actually be discovered if he uses IT Works products and Promotes them. With Picture proof and video, he will do just that and make a Commercial out of it on a little to no Budget. What does It Works mean to you?

Modeling and Acting

First thing is can you eat healthy and stay fit? do your friends or family sometimes find you entertaining or funny cause of how you try to make impression?

 If you know you have what it takes to be an actor and or a model, and you have answered "Yes" to my question. You should start by going to a Modeling and Career center like John Casablancas. John Casablancas modeling and career center was a great start for me!

I had no idea I had this hidden gift that has always been a dream, that I always wanted to pursue!

The people at the John Casablancas Modeling and Career Center made me feel welcome and opened up the gates to Promotional modeling and background acting. They gave me the opportunity to be in a Talent Fall Fashion show where I had to Act out a self written commercial, walk the runway in front of Casting Directors and over 200 people. That's pretty impressive when I go back to watch it myself on DVD. 

So if your dream is to be an actor or actress. Whether your a female or male wanting to be a model

start with them first.
