Hey Actors Make A YouTube Video

Hey all visitors and recurring browsers,

 When my Acting Dream is full-filled to my best knowledge. I'll be the one that will
help coach those who fight just as hard for something they know they want out of this challenging industry. My tip for those people, make a YouTube video and let people know who you are right now. Fame and fortune doesn't happen over night. although some may get lucky and be noticed before others. Social networking is another part of being known. Take all the Jack Ass movies for instance. They took a bunch of idiots willing to hurt themselves on video and put it on YouTube and it became a big hit. They more then likely paid MTV to put it on the network. Then they started making movies instead which look like very long shows or long unedited YouTube videos. Have nothing against them they just knew how to approach an audience and that's how you become famous and possibly wealthy with your Acting talent.

Acting! Actors! & Action!

I remember when I was a kid living on a 20 acre llama farm
acting out the Loin King movie with my brother sister and cousins.
I chose to be the lion that got killed in the middle of the movie, but wanted to come back in as a different character. Even as a kid I wanted to get, what I would say is the "Best Part" or Role and change my character and come back as something else.
I didn't care If I was the background character or actor. Growing up on a llama farm there was much to do as a kid but explore and pretend. That's what acting really is. So As an Actor you must pretend to be various different characters.

To help you feel that role, You must talk like that person or change your voice to be that character your portraying. As An Actor with nothing but background acting roles. I have been able to experience different ways to be different people. Take a football fan for instance. I'm not a big fan of football but I have watched my fair share of football movies and seen football on TV, when there was nothing else to watch. That I have some how been able to study how that character would be in a Prep High School Football movie. So take Action and learn how to ACT!

Where do you see your self in five years?

I would say in five years, I see myself as a Famous Actor hanging out with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. In Reality I see myself still living in North Carolina
realizing that my acting goal was just too hard to pursue at my age.

I want to be an Actor Full-Time, I want to be a Male model Part-time.
I don't want to be a Truck Driver anymore. I want to have the freedom that
all actors get. A typical Actor that Works for six months in one film a year and takes the rest of the six months to relax and travel the world.... dreaming like that is a pipe dream. I got advice from a very well know actor that told me if I wanted to make something of myself as a actor Full-time. I had to start doing Theater, Find an Independent film to be in. Then establish some social background and find out where the big time stuff was at. That sound like years of work! I want a Acting Job now!

Really when I say that I mean I want it. But I know I have to be patient. Instead of waiting for work I submit for. I should just let it surprise me and continue to enjoy my life! I have other plans that can lead up to my acting career. I can Blog about Acting and Modeling to keep myself busy. I could very well read more about acting and post videos on YouTube about acting and modeling. What I can tell you, is that to get into this business its very hard to compete with millions of actors all over the world. #Actor Jeffrey Barkey will see what he is in five years when those five years have come. In the mean time I will continue to submit for roles, find auditions and blog till someone discovers me. I will not let what is going on right now ruin my chance, by stressing over emails and casting directors that don't respond.

In order to be Persistent in this Acting and Modeling I
ndustry you have to stay Positive! Don't let fear take over your life, if you can dream it you can do it. Even if it takes Five Years!

Submiting for Acting roles or jobs on IMDB

 I just submitted to be in a SAG-Aftra film for a supporting role through IMDB.
With that said, it was through the sites "Casting Notices" and even though I apply or anyone else applies. You might have to read the details in which you might have to submit information through their website to get the supporting role or background acting job. I applied for a supporting role because I feel I need to move up from background acting to supporting roles. Then one day Supporting roles to Lead. I think I would do "OK" in a lead role but what is the point in trying to jump straight to the top when I should experience it all.

I can't say much else about it for their privacy but at least I'm being persistent at applying 

for acting roles/jobs.This is the Best Head Shot I have ever use to apply for roles.

The "Max" film I was filmed in July 2014 comes out in theaters in August,2015

I had a (Background Acting Role) and If I was not cut out of a scene, you should
see me briefly in theaters. I can't wait to see my Acting performance, what seemed like 15 mins was probably only 30 seconds. If you happen to get a Background Acting or Extra role that may be a Stand in be sure to show up to your Call time
as directed in the information you receive. I was actually thirty minutes early but I also had no idea where I was going. Thanks to my GPS.

I don't know where to even start with my acting career.
I have tried everything I could possible think of. In order to get an Agent
that just might get me the acting job I want or need to get noticed I have to come up with $325 dollars to Sign with that new Agent. How do you come up with money that you can't afford to take from a budget? I sold two headshots on ebay!

I would need to sell like a 1000 more just to get the money I need to continue my dream. Did famous actors or actresses need money to get started in the entertainment business? of course they did. They had to have headshots taken of them and printed, so they probably paid a photographer that took amazing pictures of anything. That cost anywhere from $100 and up. In order to be an actor you have to have some knowledge of Acting. So you go to college or some trade school that offers Acting classes. What can you expect to learn at a acting school. well first thing I learned was, How to Slate! where you state your full name age and who you are represented by. Representation would be the agency or agent you have. Next you learn about monologues, which is a one person story where only you are talking about a situation. You can then create your very own monologue to use in a short film. There are a few other things you learn and cold read and script analysis is recommended. If you took drama class in grade school like I did in the 6th grade you probably already know this. I can't express myself unless I can act it out! If I get a laugh from someone that just show that I'm a comedic actor. I do like to do voice acting but I'll talk more about that later

It's been a while since I have done any videos 

to post on You Tube of my acting skills

I figure if I can get more subscribers I'll post a new acting video

of myself performing a monologue or making up my own written commercial.

I am going to let the public fuel my acting dream to see if they really want a young looking guy like me to be the next hottest celebrity.

I can do many things most actors can never do.

mainly because they make so much they don't have to do anything else.

I'm an actor that can ride a Honda sport bike aka crotch rocket, I can 

drive a semi pulling doubles (twin 28 foot trailers)

53's 48's and a 40 with hazmat and tankers endorsments.

I can walk a runway to model apparel 

I'm a combat vetran and i'm only 29 years old

So I can perform age ranges from 18-30.
